All rates are per night and include the exclusive use of the entire house for the number of guests you have booked for. During your stay, Khumbula iAfrica is completely yours — you and your group will be the only guests on the property, allowing you to enjoy full privacy, comfort, and a peaceful African bush experience.

Please note that food, beverages, and swimming towels are not included.

We kindly ask guests to bring their own swimming towels for use at the pool.

Cancellation policies

We understand that travel plans can sometimes change. To provide flexibility while ensuring availability for all our guests, Khumbula iAfrica has the following cancellation policy.

Free cancellation up to 21 days before your arrival date.
Cancellations made within 21 days of arrival, or no-shows, will be charged 100% of the total booking amount.

To ensure your cancellation is processed correctly, all cancellation requests must be submitted in

writing by email.

We recommend that all guests take out comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances that may affect their travel plans, including cancellations, delays, or medical emergencies.

Booking / Payment

Once your booking has been confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with all the details of your reservation at Khumbula iAfrica in Marloth Park.

After your booking is confirmed, you'll also receive access to our GuestApp. This convenient digital guide contains everything you need to know before and during your stay, including check-in information, house guidelines, local attractions, recommended restaurants, activities, wildlife information, and useful tips for exploring Marloth Park and the surrounding Kruger National Park area.

Once your final payment has been received, we'll send you your arrival details so you can enjoy a smooth, stress-free check-in. We look forward to welcoming you to Khumbula iAfrica, where you can relax in the heart of the African bush and experience the unique wildlife and natural beauty of Marloth Park.

Deposit policies

A 25% refundable deposit is required within 7 days of making the booking.

The remaining balance must be paid 21 days prior to arrival.

South African Rand (ZAR) via our South African bank account.
Euro (EUR) via our European bank account.
Credit card payments.

House rules

Marloth Park is a Conservancy and as such we prefer to maintain quietness, during the whole day. Evenings in the bush are a time to appreciate the night sounds. Please be considerate of permanent residents and other who are visiting Marloth Park for a quiet bush holiday.

It is not allowed to celebrate party, being loud outside and to play music outside!
