About us – The story behind Khumbula iAfrica
Khumbula iAfrica was born from a deep love for Africa, its incredible wildlife, and the peaceful beauty of the African bush.
We are Corné and Els, originally from the Netherlands and now living in the beautiful Austrian Alps. Our passion for Africa and unforgettable safari experiences inspired us to create a place where guests can escape the everyday rush, leave daily stress behind, and reconnect with nature.
Our dream was to create a peaceful retreat where people can slow down, breathe, and experience the magic of the bush in comfort and privacy. A place where mornings begin with birdsong, days are filled with relaxation and wildlife encounters, and evenings are spent enjoying the tranquillity of the African landscape.
Located in Marloth Park, near the world-renowned Kruger National Park, Khumbula iAfrica offers a unique self-catering holiday experience surrounded by nature. Guests can enjoy the freedom of their own holiday home while experiencing the beauty of South Africa’s wildlife right at their doorstep.
